Parapet Barrier System

The parapet railing system allows for the installer to connect the guardrail system to the existing parapet without penetrating the roof membrane.

The parapet railing system is a component based, barrier system that is designed for areas where non-penetrating guardrail would not work properly.  The parapet railing system allows for the installer to connect to the existing parapet without penetrating the roof membrane and provides a barrier that does not become a trip hazard while working around equipment.

The parapet railing system provides several mounting options, so Sesco Safety can provide the most aesthetically pleasing design to mount to your existing structure.

The height of the existing parapet will help determine the amount of railing needed to maintain compliance, potentially reducing the overall cost.  Some parapets may exceed the 21” mid rail requirement, only requiring a second rail at 42”.
