Fall Protection Safety Training

Sesco Safety’s training is designed to enable employees to recognize the hazards in falling and give each employee procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.

OSHA requires employers to train each employee who is required to work at height and is exposed to a fall hazard.  In general industry, the threshold for required training is any employee working over 4’ and in construction any employee working at a height of 6’ or greater.    Sesco Safety’s training is designed to enable employees to recognize the hazards in falling and give each employee procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.

Sesco Safety can help you integrate fall protection training into your safety program.  Our classes for authorized users cover hazard recognition, as well as proper inspection, use, and storage of fall protection equipment.  Fall Protection Competent Person training goes more in depth and provides a working knowledge of fall protection regulations, standards, systems, and equipment.  Classes in fall rescue are also available, and we can customize and enhance classes specific to your facility’s protocols and employees.

Our courses combine the hands-on set-up of fall protection systems with a working knowledge of all the essential elements of a fall protection program. Training in the classroom also includes practical hands-on scenarios.  Participants that successfully complete courses will receive a certificate of completion.

Course Length: 4-24 Hours
