Position Description

The Accounting Coordinator ensures all operational transactions are accurately captured in accounting systems and through financial reporting. They administer daily accounting functions and are responsible for preparation, reconciliation, and reporting of end of period results. They work closely with company personnel through the General Manager for the operations of the business and Controller for accounting control processes. This position requires necessary skills in accounting and business, knowledge of underlying accounting principles, an analytical aptitude, and orientation in being trustworthy and providing a high level of service. This position is generally twenty hours per week with agreed on flexibility of days and hours, based in our Manitowoc facility.

How Will You Do This?

  • Perform daily activities in areas of cash receipts and deposits, accounts receivable follow-up, vendor invoice input, payment disbursements, purchase order and receipts, and daily reporting
  • Manage the accuracy of material and labor transactions flowing into individual job costs, input and reconciliation of payroll, and inter-company activities
  • Reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet accounts in preparation of period end reporting
  • Generate timely financial set and period end reports required by parent company and others in support of business unit operations
  • Maintain all sales tax based reporting, state vendor systems and coordinate payments on a timely basis
  • Execute and maintain documentation and financial transactional set up with new customers and vendors
  • Assist in maintenance of customer, item, and pricing data records in Accounting and Order systems to ensure accuracy in transactional processing
  • Perform auditing of asset and expense accounts periodically
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of accounting controls, and maintain necessary filing systems
  • Act as point of contact with inter-company Accounting personnel, and external service providers as designated
  • Perform general office duties and assignments

We Want to Hear from You If:

  • Minimum of Associate level degree with three years broad accounting experience
  • Experience with accounting systems, QuickBooks is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Suite programs, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of sales tax processing helpful
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, journal entry, financial reporting, and other such financial transactions
  • Experience in combination of A/R, A/P, Payroll, Job Costing and Month End activities and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills proving ability to prioritize and manage functions effectively, and be timely to requests
  • Sound and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Skillful in working independently and researching problems, while also contributing to a fast-paced team environment
  • Perform functions with high degree of accuracy and providing ongoing support of financial controls through activities

Position Description

Based out of Sesco’s Manitowoc facility, the Sales and Service Specialist performs a combination of functions entailing customer development, inside sales, customer service and care, and sales support. This role is front line for customer inquiries and must maintain high service through ongoing   customer engagements. This role is integral in developing new customer relationships resulting in sales of products and services, assists in execution of marketing programs, and maintains corresponding sales systems.

This role is critical to the Company in its continued high growth. Ideal candidates are innovative, energetic, results driven, forward thinking, and perform collaboratively in a professional team environment.

How Will You Do This?

  • Generate new customers through internally based sales techniques for referral to field based personnel; qualify inbound inquiries to sales stages
  • Execute and manage the quote to order to customer service processes of the sales cycle
  • Coordinate with vendors on purchase orders and shipments, and maintenance of vendor item and price files throughout systems
  • Manage a group of in-house customers for ongoing sales
  • Be the front-line voice of the company in fielding and directing incoming calls
  • Collaborate with other company team members on new business pursuits, order execution activities
  • Develop sales presentations to facilitate general customer development efforts
  • Maintain CRM records of customer interactions, process quotations and orders accurately in accounting system
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, assume outbound marketing execution and internal case studies, and update corresponding customer data bases
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows, as needed

We Want to Hear from You If:

  • Prior solution-bases sales and customer support experience
  • Strong organization skills, proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage functions effectively, and be timely in responses
  • Sound and effective communication skills, particularly via phone, in writing and presentations; negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Proficiency with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CRM, order and invoicing systems
  • Understanding and/or experience in B2B marketing, along with creation and execution of programs
  • Experience or willingness to learn industry architectural and safety products and applicable standards in the sale of engineered fall protection systems
  • Ability to quickly grasp industry codes, and apply in customer dealings and product applications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years sales and customer service experience preferred or; in lieu of education, 4+ years of technical product sales experience

Position Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing business within their scope. You will be responsible for developing, cultivating, qualifying leads and closing new business, and managing customer and partner relationships and expectations, as part of customer development functions to achieve sale revenue and market penetration objectives.

In this role you will call directly on and visit customer sites in an array of industrial, commercial and municipal markets, ranging from medium size to Fortune 1000 organizations. You will leverage your knowledge of building structures and operations set ups. You will build strong relationships with Operations and Safety personnel, and perform in a consultative sales capacity to sell appropriate fall protection solutions that meet functional needs and safety code compliance.

Your role is critical to the Company in its continued high growth. You need to be self-directed, innovative, energetic, results driven, forward thinking, and perform collaboratively in a professional team environment.

How Will You Do This?

  • Meet assigned sales targets and all pipeline activities to do so
  • Develop and execute individual business development plans
  • Promptly act on leads, efficiently qualify, and conduct sales activities to optimal effectiveness
  • Regularly travel to perform site surveys and customer consultations, prepare detailed field drawings, and determine needs and solutions
  • Participate in preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for customer presentation
  • Maintain CRM database for all prospect and customer activities
  • Initiate and develop strong business relationships within all levels of customer organizations, including senior level management
  • Collaborate with other Company Sales personnel for development of programs, marketing content and sales materials
  • Provide timely and complete internal reporting
  • Represent the company at networking and tradeshow events
  • Assist the team as necessary in coverage to include installation assistance
  • Perform ANSI compliant fall hazard surveys

We Want to Hear from You If:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years sales experience preferred or; in lieu of education, 5+ years of technical product sales experience
  • Highly preferable sales experience in architectural, construction or engineered safety products fields; ability to read construction drawings required
  • Success in solution-based sales including elements of design, engineering, fabrication and installation
  • Knowledge of construction and engineering processes applicable to fall protection systems
  • Proven track record of sales success, professional sales training
  • Proficiency with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CRM, and order systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and detail oriented problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp OSHA and other corresponding regulation codes, and apply in customer dealings and product applications
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to prepare to hand or AutoCAD sketches for estimating
